Business Ideas Under 20k

December 31st, 2011 admin No comments

What are the financial implications of my possible divorce?

Hello,

I am 28, married 6 years. To make a long story short, my marriage is not working out. I was wondering the finacnial implications of a divorce. I currently make about 50-60k a year. We own a $220,000 with about $50.000 equity. My wife works under her parents family business with an income of 20k a year. She is 1/3 owner of the business which is valued at about 500k. We do not have any children. If I am instigating the divorce under irreconcilable differences, what are the financial implications. Will I loose the entire home? Will I need to pay support? Or will she be the one to owe money? I just have no idea what will happen. Just thought I would ask before getting a lawyer. Thank you for your help.

Get a good lawyer.
Do *not* move out of the home.

You could split the house 50/50, the house debt 50/50, and unless you signed a prenup, you could get 1/6 of the business.

Divorce is about the “equitable” division of assets as you two agree – or as a judge decides when you can’t agree.
If I were you, I would propose 50% split of the debt and equity of the house and ignore the business.
It’s a family business, doesn’t generate that much income, and her working there means you shouldn’t owe her any money – leave it alone.
Spousal-support is generally limited to half the length of marriage.

Any-which-way, if your marriage sucks now and you don’t have any children, just GTFO and learn your lesson.

work from home philippines online
Should i get married?

I have a been doing the online/long distance relationship from a woman in the Philippines for about 2 years. I have been bold or foolish to buy land and send her money to pay for it and I bought her a computer, so she doesn’t have to go the internet cafe. In the 2 years she really has not been consistent with her work ethic. She tells me that there is an age discrimination, she will be 40. Anyway aside all of this..smart or not. I feel love for her, but we have many difference. she is protestant and i am Catholic. work ethic is questionable, she does not try to improver her life, she does not have a place to call her home. She stays with relatives at 3 different places, we have great conversations, but lately its been argument after argument (money) I know…i s she wanting the green card? Please only serious answers. What are my options?

options are simple
marry or not.
become broke or not.
let her max out your credit cards or not.
let her bring over her family one person at a time or not.
be a desperate person who needs attention or not.
begin meeting local girls or not.

Legitimate Work From Home Jobs In Illinois

December 29th, 2011 admin No comments

Where Can I Find Hard working & Successful US marketing Reps?

I have marketing reps that work for me that are based outside of the US and now I am looking for more US based reps. Our foreign reps have been working for over 6 years and have been very successful.

However, when I post ads on US job websites, in which we pay a great deal of money for, we get responses from people that want to work from home – but aren’t the type of people that really should be. Or they say they are looking for work and when we tell them that because we are a legitimate company, they have to work hard, they become uninterested. We have posted on Monster, Tjobs, HotJobs, and more.

We are simply looking for reps to find clients and we give them 20% of whatever the client pays. It is work – but simple work.
We are located in Illinois and are a successful website, printing, and technology company.

In the US we know many, many people that are looking for work, and I am simply trying to help as many people as we can.

Any thoughts?

First of all, yes, there are a lot of people looking for work, but there is a very limited pool of the right kind of people who have the work ethic and skills to do what you need of them. If you want good marketing representatives here in the US you have to do one of two things, offer a base salary and make it a w-2 position where you can put some type of quota requirement and incentive plan together, or you have to post it as a business opportunity to have people pay you to represent your products.

All of the ideal candidates for what you are looking for are typically already highly paid sales representatives in similar positions for other companies, and would need a good incentive (hence the base salary) to switch, especially when your product is in such a competitive market with lots of local competitions such as yours is. This can be risky if you don’t choose the right candidates, but a good sales professional can go anywhere they want in this job market, and you have to be competitive to attract them away from your competitors if they have a proven sales record.

The other option for you is to post it as a business opportunity (partnership) and require some type of buy in. It doesn’t have to be a high buy in, and you can offer to refund it when they hit a certain sales mark, but this weeds out the work from home crowd who won’t take it seriously. 20% is decent depending on the service and sales and expected sales numbers, and if you offer good marketing material support, this might attract more of the types of people you are looking for.

Work From Home Medical Coding And Transcription

December 29th, 2011 admin No comments

Which is the better job: medical transcription or medical coding?

I have seen ads for both medical transcription and medical coding training. I know what each job entails (I researched job responsibilities for both careers on the Occupational Outlook Handbook website), but I don’t know which one, if either, would be right for me. For anyone who has had either career, or both, which one is better? What is working at the job really like? Can it be done from home? Do you need an Associates degree or can you find employment with a certificate? Will anyone hire someone who is trained for the position but with no job experience in the field yet? Is this a worthwhile career to get into at this time? As you can see I have a lot of questions, so I would really appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!

I’d say coding. It’s a position where you wouldn’t have to be at the desk all day. In the hospitals where I’ve worked the people who code are part of the utilization department. They keep up with the number of days the patients are in the hospital versus the number of days recommended for the particular code. Years ago it was almost impossible to get physicians to see why that was important, but I’d say in the past ten years or so, everyone who works in hospitals understands. In a coding position you’ll get to know the nurses, therapists and physicians at the hospital.

Transcription is a very solitary job. It’s generally not a full time job at the hospital. Doctors use transcriptionists mainly and basically they send you tapes of histories and physicals and such and you type them. I always thought it looked like a boring job. But I guess it’s all about what you want to do.

As far as having experience I imagine in each of the courses you would do some sort of internship or rotation where you would do some work in a facility. Often you can get a job where you do that internship. But everybody started with no experience at one time. People don’t mind taking a chance on the new kids.

work from home business ideas australia
What would be a good home/web based business to start up part time.I live in Australia?

I do have another job but work evenings.I can allocate 4-5 hours in the morning to run something from home.do you have any ideas with minimal to no capital expenditure.

You could start up a website about a hobby or some other topic that you know a lot about.

I did that. It has been hard work learning how to make money and build a great site but it is also a lot of fun.

The company that taught me everything to succeed was featured on Oprah this last week.

If you want to see my website go to http://www.cure-my-fatigue.com/

My website is about fibromyalgia and health but you could build a site about anything that interests you.

If you like the idea click on the link at the bottom of any page.
There you will see a video that will open the possibilities of a profitable business that you can run from anywhere in the world.
